Furakha SPA – Savoia Hotel Rimini 4* formerly Le Méridien

Client:

The Savoia Hotel Rimini, formerly Le Méridien, is a 4-star hotel overlooking the Marina Centro seafront.

The property features 110 rooms, 88 of which offer sea views, and stands out for its prime beachfront location and its focus on hospitality, relaxation, and well-being.

The wellness center provides guests with elegant and contemporary services, featuring spaces dedicated to treatments, rejuvenation, and personal care.

Project:

The Client’s request, at the time Le Méridien, was to create a wellness center capable of reflecting the spirit of its name: Furakha, a Swahili word meaning “joy of living.”

The SPA, designed by Studio Silvia Giannini Architects, spans 600 sqm on the first floor of the property and includes a heated indoor panoramic pool with water features and sea views.

The wellness journey includes a Turkish bath, emotional showers, and ten treatment cabins, five of which are dedicated to hydrotherapy: a Vichy shower with integrated chromotherapy, a slimming tub, a relaxation tub, a sensory deprivation tub, and a hydromassage tub with integrated steam bath and ozone therapy.

Among the most exclusive areas is the Ektasis Room, a space designed for two, featuring massage beds, two relaxation tubs, and a private Turkish bath.
