Borgo Brufa SPA Resort 5* is an exclusive adults-only resort nestled among the Umbrian hills, designed for those seeking relaxation, wellness, and romance. Its expansive panoramic SPA, swimming pools, and gourmet cuisine enhance a refined experience just a short distance from Perugia and Assisi.
The Client expressed the desire to transform the existing SPA into an identity-defining and distinctive element of the hotel, capable of strengthening the property’s wellness vocation and becoming one of its primary attractions.
The project, designed by Studio Silvia Giannini Architects, completely redefined the existing spaces, expanding the SPA from 700 to 1,400 sqm. The wet area includes a sauna, steam bath, bio-sauna, experience showers, two relaxation areas, and a saline flotation cave.
The indoor pool was expanded and projected outward, creating a panoramic pool with water features that blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.
Among the most evocative spaces is the “star room,” a relaxation area enveloped in variable-intensity fiber optics on the floor, walls, and ceiling, where resting on the loungers evokes the sensation of floating in a starry sky.
The SPA is adults-only, with access permitted to guests aged 14 and over.
