Hotel Design Lab, also known as ROOMS, is a conceptual space presented within SIA Hospitality Design, the Rimini Exhibition Center event dedicated to hospitality and hotel design.
The format brings together architects, designers, and industry companies with the aim of presenting new hospitality concepts through full-scale mock-ups of hotel rooms and reception areas.
Beyond its exhibition dimension, Hotel Design Lab also serves as a platform for discussion and in-depth analysis of contemporary hospitality themes, fostering dialogue on design, innovation, materials, furnishings, and the evolving needs of the hotel industry.
On the occasion of SIA Guest – Rimini Exhibition Center, Studio Silvia Giannini Architects was invited among leading Italian architectural firms to reinterpret the theme of the contemporary bathroom, increasingly akin to the concept of a private SPA, as part of the Hotel Design Lab’s ROOMS event.
Spanning 60 sqm, the project proposes a vision of the bathroom as an exclusive and sensory wellness space, where the functional dimension transforms into an experience of pleasure, intimacy, and self-care.
“Sweet oh Suite!” was conceived as a delightful suite dedicated to comfort and wonder: a journey capable of engaging all senses, stimulating touch and taste, and narrating a small fable of private well-being.
