The Client expressed the need to radically renovate the existing SPA, transforming it into an elegant and contemporary environment, with treatments oriented towards a scientific dimension of wellness.
The SPA, designed by Silvia Giannini Architects and developed across 4,300 sq ft, includes a saline pool with water features, a salt room, sauna, steam bath, emotional shower, ice fountain, relaxation area, and six treatment cabins, conceived as mini Private SPAs.
The predominant design theme is salt, chosen both for its visual affinity with snow and for its beneficial and medicinal value. Inspired by the “salts of the world,” the project creates a sensory journey where material, wellness, and suggestion intertwine.
The salt cave represents one of the most distinctive environments: a room with floor, walls, and ceiling entirely covered in salt, where the beneficial effect of the treatment is complemented by the evocative power of the space.
